(Important tips given to students on Calligraphy)

                                This is the crucial time for the different forms of Art and Culture and we should promote our rich heritage for future generation. Otherwise, after some time it will be vanished and we will be collectively responsible for this degradation. This issue is an important aspect which is concerned with our identity. These ideas were shared by Professor Y.C. Bhatt, Director, Jagan Nath Gupta Institute of Engineering and Technology (JNIT) on the opening session of a workshop Art of Calligraphy conducted by Faculty of Mass Communication, Jagan Nath University in the association with Jagan Nath Gupta Institute of Engineering and Technology (JNIT) at Sitapura Campus. Mr. Bhatt underlined the rich heritage of India and said that this is the challenging task to look after and protect our glorious past which is available in the different forms like architecture, sculpture, frescos, paintings, language, script and other forms of fine art and culture. In this workshop, an eminent artist Mr. Hari Shankar Balothia gave a presentation on calligraphy and discussed on different forms and typography with students. He also discussed about important tips for calligraphy. Students took keen interest for an exercise that was given to all participants and judged by the expert. Before this, welcome speech was given by Dr. Sanjay Mishra, HOD, Faculty of Mass Communication, Jagan Nath University. The workshop was attended by enthusiastic students of Mass Communication, Architecture and Engineering discipline. The vote of thanks was given by the student of Mass Communication Vikram Singh Rathore.
